The app i have tested out is wordnik. This website could be used in an educational context as it is a reliable website, which is easy and fast to use.
You are able to search any word you want, and it will give you the definition. The picture above shows this.
I searched the word 'because'. The above picture shows that it gives you a range of definitions of the word you have chosen.
Also, it gives you examples of the word you have searched in sentences.
It could be used in an educational context as it gives you the definition of the word, examples of it used in sentences and it also shows you related words. These include; synonyms, words in the same context, words that rhyme with the word you have searched and also reverse dictionary.
It would be very useful in an educational context as it could be used to help individuals with their spelling, homework and assignments. It is straightforward to use, so if children in a comprehensive or primary school wanted to use it they would have no problem navigating through website.
